USING & CUSTOMIZING THE COLLECTION:
(101 comps and over 137 precomps)

Simply replace our photos with your photos, Quicktime files or graphics.
The possibilities are only limited to your imagination.

(The photos used in the collection can not be used without permission from LME Collections. Please read LICENSING AGREEMENT.)

STARTING OUT:

Go to GALLERY_ON_THE_WEB.html to view the online Gallery which will show you what each comp in the collection looks like rendered. Some of the animations move quite fast. We did this to be able to show you what each configuration does quickly. You can go in and either slow it down using key frames, but more easily import the comp into a new comp and go to the TIME STRETCH function under the LAYER menu and change the speed.

1) FINDING COMPS YOU LIKE: If you see a comp animation that you like in the GALLERY write the name down then open the "ALL COMPS.aep" and do a search using the magnifying icon at the bottom of the bin.

2) HIDDEN COMPS: In the "ALL COMPS.aep" document are all the comps in the collection. When you open a project folder, there may be one comp or a "COMP" folder. Inside that comp folder there are several more comps of that theme included.

3) ISOLATING COMPS: To isolate a comp, make a copy of ALL_COMPS.aep, open and select the comp you want to isolate, then under FILE in the menu select REDUCE.

4) REPLACING THE PHOTOS WITH YOUR ART: The comps in our collection use between 1 and 50 photographs. By going to FILE in the menu and then REPLACE FILE (or COMMAND H for Mac or CONTROL H for windows) you can replace our photographs with your videos, photos, or graphics.

5) USE AS IS OR MAKE THE DESIGNS YOUR OWN: If you like a configuration but there are too many photos remove some and reposition the remaining. Tweak the key frames. Combine comps. There are a million ways to transform them.

We have included a traditional TV screen mask shape that you can apply to layers in a comp to change the shape of what's being displayed from a rectangle to a traditional TV screen shape. Directions are included in a TV MASK READ ME FILE comp when you open the ALL_COMPS.aep document.
